With the newly installed HI-FOG® 2000 system, the building is optimally protected in the event of a fire. A high-pressure water mist extinguishing system uses about 80% less water than a conventional sprinkler system. This saving is already evident in the stocking and especially after a fire incident, as much smaller water damages are found on the building. Thanks to the new EPU (Electric Pump Unit) unit, the power consumption of the system can also be optimized even more efficiently, as the pump unit only switches on the number of motors that are actually needed. Likewise, there is no pressure-maintaining pump installed in the new unit generation, as this task is taken over by the 1st motor controlled by a frequency converter. In this way, the "down time" of the plant and service costs can be minimized.
