Fire alarm and sprinkler systems
Water mist system are being used more and more
Smaller hotels are often only equipped with fire alarm systems. These can indeed detect fires and alert people of such a risk, however, the fire can only be fought or suppressed using hand-held fire extinguishers. The small size of these hotels allows for a quick escape and the fire alarm system offers sufficient protection.
HI-FOG fire protection for hotel rooms
For larger hotel buildings, a fire suppression system (extinguishing system) is obligatory in addition to the fire alarm system. In most cases, a sprinkler system is used.
However, due to the significant advantages offered by water mist systems in comparison to sprinklers (low water requirements, low water damage, thin pipelines, etc.), these systems are also increasingly being used.
